Permission Inversion Readiness

Check each item that's true for your current position. Be honest — unchecked items are your build priorities.

Section 1: Distribution Ownership (6 items)

I own at least one audience channel (email list, domain, community) that I control completely. I can communicate with my audience without any third party's permission or approval. I can export my subscriber/customer data at any time in a portable format. My primary distribution channel is not dependent on a single platform's algorithm. I actively convert followers from rented platforms to owned channels weekly. If my largest platform disappeared tomorrow, I could still reach 50%+ of my audience.

Section 2: Permission Position (5 items)

I set my own pricing for the services/access I provide. I choose when to communicate with my audience (send schedule is mine). I control the messaging and copy without requiring external approval. No single entity controls more than 30% of my total income. Partners/providers ask me for access, not the other way around.

Section 3: Utilization Structure (4 items)

My primary asset can serve multiple paying customers simultaneously without proportional cost increase. I have at least one recurring revenue source (not just one-time transactions). I generate revenue from multiple sources per asset (not just one monetization method). Adding the next 1,000 users/subscribers costs less than the first 1,000.

Section 4: Repeatability Infrastructure (5 items)

My income continues during a 2-week absence without intervention. I have 3+ months of documented recurring revenue history. My key processes are documented well enough for someone else to execute them. At least one revenue-producing sequence runs fully automated. I have an experiment log with 10+ documented tests and their results.

Section 5: Platform Independence (4 items)

I can name every entity that could unilaterally end each of my income streams. No single platform accounts for more than 25% of my audience reach. I have a documented plan for if my largest platform is revoked tomorrow. My conversion systems (landing pages, email sequences) live on infrastructure I control.

Section 6: Time-Buyback Foundation (4 items)

I know my current active/residual income ratio. I have at least some residual income flowing (any amount). I have set a quarterly target for increasing my residual percentage. I have a specific 30-day ownership action planned or in progress.
